REL Achieves ISO 9001 : 2008 Accreditation

REL are glad to announce that they have achieved accreditation to ISO 9001: 2008. This revised accreditation is now focused not only on processes, but also on how the business manages organisational efficiency, and there is more of a focus on continuous improvement - in all areas of the Business.

REL are delighted to have passed this accreditation at our first attempt. Maria Hamill, REL Group Quality Manager coordinated the overall transition to the new standard. Maria says that,"implementing a Quality Management System has motivated our staff by defining their key roles and responsibilities. Cost savings can be made through improved efficiency and productivity, as product or service deficiencies will be highlighted. From this, improvements can be developed, resulting in less waste, inappropriate or rejected work and fewer complaints. Our customers will notice that orders are met consistently, on time and to the correct specification. This can open up the market place to increased opportunities for our business"
